She graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with an Associate in Arts Degree in accounting.
Mia is married to Ronnie, who is a Captain on the Oelwein Police Department. She enjoys every aspect of the outdoors - whether it is camping, hiking, festivals, fairs or just relaxing. Her family enjoys watching Iowa Hawkeye sports. Mia has a love for the Seattle Seahawks - even though there are only two Seahawk fans in her home! Her children's sporting events (football, volleyball, basketball and dance) keep her extremely busy outside of work. In her free time, Mia loves kickboxing, music, being with family and friends and going to her Dad's farm. One day, she hopes to travel to Thailand to meet her biological family.
