As a result of continued business growth, Terry Lockridge & Dunn and World Trend Financial have leased additional office space in the Dows Building, 210 Second Street SE, in downtown Cedar Rapids.
The firms now occupy four floors in the historic building, constructed in 1874 by Cedar Rapids pioneer Stephen L. Dows.
"Our firms are built on developing successful long-term relationships with our clients across the country," said founder and partner, Tim Terry. "That’s also how we see our investment in downtown Cedar Rapids and why this makes good sense for the future of our firms. We have maintained a continuing presence in the Dows Building since our beginnings in 1978. We began with 300 square feet and now occupy 12,000 square feet of the building."
The additional space will allow for future growth and provides offices for the firms' growing professional staff. In addition to its offices in Cedar Rapids, the firms expanded their footprint in Iowa City in 2008 with a 17,500 square foot building at 2225 Mormon Trek Blvd.
