Important Information on Tax Season Procedures
As 2012 begins we want you to be aware of some important tax procedures:
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires Terry Lockridge & Dunn to e-file all individual tax returns unless specific reasons permit otherwise. This year we will also be e-filing business returns.
- Please be sure to include a voided check in your tax organizer if you wish your refund to be directly deposited into your bank account and therefore, receive it faster.
- Be sure to sign the disclosure form, if applicable, included with your tax organizer and return the organizer to Terry Lockridge & Dunn even if it is not completed. Terry Lockridge & Dunn uses client tax organizers for internal purposes during the tax return preparation process.
- To make a tax appointment with your accountant, please contact Terry Lockridge & Dunn’s front desk in Cedar Rapids at (319) 364-2945 or in Iowa City at (319) 339-4884. It is not necessary to contact your accountant directly.
Also, keep an eye out for your Tax Organizer which we will deliver in early January!
