Change in Biennial Report Notification
Corporations which need to file a Biennial Report with the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office in 2012 should be aware of changes to the notification and filing process. You will no longer receive a letter alerting you it is time to file; you’ll get a postcard notification only. The postcard will direct you to a website where you will enter your corporation number and a PIN (provided on the postcard) and then select if you would like to file online or by paper form.
Failure to deliver the Biennial Report, with the required fee, may result in administrative dissolution or revocation of the corporation.
