Financial Reporting Valuation Analyst
Terry Lockridge & Dunn is seeking qualified applicants to submit their resumes for an analyst position within its business valuation group. Our company specializes in providing income tax preparation, accounting services, business valuations and consulting to individuals and small businesses. Founded in 1978, Terry, Lockridge & Dunn has offices in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.

Requirements
The successful candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or economics. A CPA/ABV designation is preferable but not mandatory to apply. A track record of high level financial statement analysis, demonstrated oral and written communications skills are essential.
This position requires adherence to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality. The analyst will perform industry and company research utilizing proprietary services; conduct detailed interviews with company management concerning operational, financial, accounting and tax issues; apply a variety of valuation approaches and methods to the analysis of businesses, equities, intangible assets, intellectual property and liabilities. Incumbent will develop detailed financial models, including Discounted Cash Flow and Comparable Company valuations along with combining analytical findings and qualitative research to produce written opinions of value. The analyst will also assemble, maintain and finalize working papers that support valuations.
Excellent verbal, written (including technical writing), and presentation skills along with superior analytical, research, organizational, and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite and strong internet research skills required.
