Tim Terry’s imprint on the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City communities was publicly recognized in the December 24, 2018 edition of the Corridor Business Journal. Tim was once again named as one of the Top 25 Most Influential persons in the area – coming in at the #18 spot. We are extremely proud of his accomplishments.
He has a special place in his heart for children, as demonstrated in his significant involvement with the Little Free Libraries and the Total Child project in the Wellington Heights area of Cedar Rapids, as well as the City of Literature project with UNESCO in Iowa City and the Willowwind School in Iowa City.
He currently is a member of the Corridor Community Advisory Committee, the American Academy of Poets, as well as the Rotary Club of Iowa City. He is also a member of the Iowa City School District Superintendent's Circle.
When notified of the honor, he responded “I could not be active in our communities without the extraordinary backing of our partners at TLD and WT. Their willingness to support my efforts is the real thing that should be commended. I am proud to be a part of organizations that remain committed to supporting nonprofit organizations in Eastern Iowa.”
